Roseta Santiago was born and raised in Washington,D.C. where she started her career as an exhibit and graphics designer. In 1994 The Bass Pro Stores retained Roseta to paint life-sized wildlife murals. After completion of 22 stores she moved to New Mexico and established a home and studio. Her lifetime dream to paint became a reality. Mystery and light engulf the unique Western and Asian artifacts that are the subjects of her current body of work....signed "Santiago". Roseta's work is influenced by John Singer Sargent, Hovsef Pushman and Emil Carlsen. Recognized and collected internationally, she has successfully exhibited at the Albuquerque Museum and has been accepted into the Eiteljorg Museum Show for 2006.
